Plan ahead for Thanksgiving travel

The holiday is nearly upon us and the ferries will be crowded. Here is the bulletin recently released by WSF regarding ferry travel in the San Juan Islands over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Please plan ahead for heavy ferry traffic Thanksgiving weekend. The longest lines are expected westbound Wednesday afternoon and evening, Nov. 27, and both westbound and eastbound Friday morning, Nov. 29. The route will be on its regular schedule on Thursday, Nov. 28. On Wednesday, Nov. 27, there will be an extra trip to Friday Harbor departing from Anacortes at 1:50 pm.
