WSF suggests to plan now for 3.5 day Orcas terminal vehicular closure

The following message is posted on the WSF Ferry Alert Bulletin page:

WSF will close the Orcas terminal to all vehicle traffic after the last sailing on Monday, Oct. 22 until midday, Friday, Oct. 26. Walk-on passenger service will be maintained. WSF will provide free parking spaces in the Anacortes terminal upper parking lot for Orcas drivers who are pre-authorized and have a dashboard permit; apply at the Orcas terminal now through Sept. 21. This closure is necessary to accommodate major construction. For more information, visit Orcas Transfer Span Repairs.

Reminder: The Ferry Community Partnership is meeting from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 22 at the Anacortes Public Library.

Reps. Lytton, Morris, and Seaquist have all said they will be in attendance.
