Voice of Washington State (VOWS) Program

Last week the Washington State Transportation Commission announced the launch of the new Voice of Washington State (VOWS), a program designed to encourage input from residents across the state regarding transportation issues. One venue for participation is through online discussion forums. These discussions are regional and include the following areas: West (Region 1), North Puget Sound (Region 2), Central Puget Sound (Region 3), Southwest (Region 4), Central (Region 5), Northeast (Region 6) and Southeast (Region 7).  Any resident of Washington may sign-up and  participate by going to www.voiceofwashingtonstate.org.

The second way to participate is by signing up to respond to occasional surveys on transportation policy, funding and tax issues. The URL for registering to take surveys is the same as as provided above.

Transportation issues will be dealt with in the next legislative session. Share your thoughts and opinions. More information about this program is available here.
