Tour De Lopez 2012

Tour De Lopez 2012 happens this coming weekend. WSF works with the Lopez Chamber of Commerce to provide additional ferry service for this event due to the high volume of cyclists who come to the island. Here’s the notice from David Moseley’s weekly enewsletter:

Tour De Lopez, the biggest bicycle event in the San Juan Islands, is taking place Saturday, April 28. It is estimated that 950 riders will attend, arriving between Thursday and Saturday. WSF will make two unscheduled stops to support the anticipated crowds: 7:15 a.m. departing Anacortes (8:20 a.m. arrival at Lopez) and 8:30 a.m. departing Anacortes (9:15 am arrival at Lopez).
