WSTC adopts changes to ferry fares

Thanks to everyone who took the time to contact the Washington State Transportation Commission to provide input. From what we have heard, the public input meeting on our interisland ferry was the best attended of all the recent public meetings.

Although the WSTC chose to go with the 2011 Ferry Fare Proposal as originally presented, it’s important that ferry riders voiced their thoughts and concerns, as did the Ferry Advisory Committee and ten of our legislators.

The WSTC press release about this decision can be accessed here.
